Chronic Pain and Health Conditions

You may have had an accident or illness, which has resulted in an acute health condition. These conditions usually resolve within a normal period of healing. However when the condition persists it can impact life beyond the normal period of healing.

What is chronic

Ongoing pain, and other illnesses such as chronic fatigue, POTS, arthritis & autoimmune diseases are classified as chronic, and can persist beyond the normal period of healing.

Impact on mental health

Chronic illnesses can have detrimental impacts on your quality of life. Depression, anxiety, adjustment to injury, sleep issues, grief and loss are associated psychological difficulties that people experience when living with a chronic health issue.
